From time to time it is necessary to broaden your horizons and to step out of your comfort zone. It might be uncomfortable and scary in the first place, but the benefits are huge. Taking a risk allows you to get to know your strengths better, expand knowledge and skills and to increase creativity and innovation. Besides that, it helps you to build resilience and confidence as well as to improve your mental and physical health.

By challenging yourself to try new things, you can unlock your full potential and achieve greater success and fulfillment in life. So, take a deep breath, and step outside of your comfort zone today!

My motivation to step out of my comfort zone is my current project I am working on. It’s a challenge that is taking place in the beginning of 2025. Together with 20 colleagues from all over the world I am going to climb Africas tallest mountain, the Kilimanjaro in Tansania in February 2025. Part of the challenge is raising an amount of 5.000 Euro in order to support a local project that Randstad is working on together with VSO. The “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in the Blue Economy Sector” project aims to help around 100 young women to get better chances in the workplace.

Your donation will be invested in enhancing the livelihoods and well-being of 100 young, marginalized women through decent jobs. Your contribution will help us establish and strengthen collaboration with private sector companies for skills training, certification by local government and educational institutions, and establishing cooperatives where women can unite, exchange, and market their products. We also seek to improve childcare services that will free young women to work in the blue economy and generate a increased income.

Each little contribution means a lot to me and is highly appreciated!
