Join my Kilimanjaro Challenge to empower women in Tanzania

Together with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) and Randstad, I am raising money to support female entrepreneurs and build a sustainable maritime economy in Tanzania. Alongside 20 Randstad colleagues from all over the world, I am taking on the Kilimanjaro Challenge.

After working as a VSO volunteer in Tanzania for 6 months, I am now once again supporting a VSO project: Boosting the Blue Economy in Dar Es Salaam. With a focus on women, participants receive various training courses, access to potential clients and financial services, and support in creating partnerships. This will help to increase the economic empowerment of women.
To contribute to the project, I am raising 5,000 EUR and taking on the challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m) in February 2025. Every donation brings me closer to the project's goal: promoting sustainable development and the empowerment of women in local communities.

Voor een project van Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) en Randstad, zamel ik geld in ter ondersteuning van vrouwelijke ondernemers en het opbouwen van een duurzame maritieme economie in Tanzania. Samen met 20 Randstad-collega’s van over de hele wereld, ga ik hiervoor de Kilimanjaro Challenge aan.

Nadat ik zelf 6 maanden als VSO-vrijwilliger gewerkt heb in Tanzania, steun ik nu opnieuw een VSO-project: Boosting the Blue Economy in Dar Es Salaam. Met een focus op vrouwen, krijgen de deelnemers verschillende opleidingen, toegang tot potentiële klanten en financiële diensten, en ondersteuning bij het creëren van partnerships. Dit zal helpen om de economische empowerment van vrouwen te vergroten.
Om bij te dragen aan het project, zamel ik 5.000 EUR in en ga ik de uitdaging aan om Mount Kilimanjaro (5.895m) te beklimmen in februari 2025. Elke donatie brengt mij dichter bij het projectdoel: bevorderen van duurzame ontwikkeling en empowerment van vrouwen in lokale gemeenschappen.

Après avoir travaillé comme volontaire VSO en Tanzanie pendant 6 mois, je soutiens à nouveau un projet VSO : Boosting the Blue Economy à Dar Es Salaam. En mettant l'accent sur les femmes, les participantes bénéficient de diverses formations, d'un accès à des clients potentiels et à des services financiers, ainsi que d'un soutien dans la création de partenariats. Cela contribuera à augmenter l’autonomisation économique des femmes.
